clothing that needs to be
washed separately.
HIDDEN HAMPER To the left of
the dryer, a deep pull-out bin,

holds dirty clothes,
keeping them off the floor
and out of sight. A basket
for clean clothes fits in the shelf
above the hamper. "I can get the
week’s laundry in it, then take it
to the bedrooms to put away in
one swoop,” Amanda says.
In planning the space,
Amanda literally walked
through how shed use each
area. “I mimed where I
would put things,” she says.
